Up for sale is a 16GB jail broken iPhone 3GS. This has the capability of tethering, free talk GPS navigation, an SNES emulator that unlocks a ton of other games, and tons of other cool and interesting apps for free! I am also including all original accessories which have never been touched (other than the usb cord) and a battery pack that more than doubles the battery life of the iphone. Unlocked iPhone 3GS with $100 AT&T Prepaid Credit (Renton, WA) $250

I have for sale a counterfeit quad band Apple iPhone 3GS with a $100 SIM card. This unit was purchased in China. It looks exactly like an iPhone 3GS, including the Apple logo, design, etc. The display is identically sized, and is very sharp (not like the cheap counterfeit iPhones that flooded the market earlier this year). The hardware is reportedly the same as the iPhone 3GS, including the display. The price reflects what I actually paid, and I got a good deal. You get the savings!
It does have multi-touch, velocimeter, and all the features you’d expect from a real iPhone. What’s different is the software. It’s based on a Chinese version of Linux. While the menus are switched to English, most of the configuration is in Chinese. If you can read Chinese, you will have a much easier time with this phone. It is possible that you could flash this phone with the iPhone software and have a full-fledged iPhone. I’m not sure how to do that, and don’t really have time to mess with it. It’s supposedly the same process as “jailbreaking” an iPhone and uses the same tools.
The phone is in excellent almost new condition, and I’ve used it only to play with it and check out the functionality. It has less than an hour of talk time and a few text messages sent. In fact, it’s only 2 weeks old, since I just brought it back from Beijing. It comes with a “genuine” Apple USB cable and charging adapter. I’m having the original box and manual (a real iPhone box and manual for the UK version of the handset) sent from China, and assuming it makes it through Customs, I’ll give this to you later if you’re interested.
This unit is being sold with an AT&T prepaid SIM card with a $103 credit. So, assuming you either read Chinese or you can re-flash the phone to Apple’s operating system, you’ll have an UNLOCKED iPhone 3GS (or equivalent) with $103 in calling credit and an AT&T SIM card. You can apply the credit toward any GoPhone plan or toward an ordinary plan if you sign up with AT&T. Since the IMEI is not an Apple IMEI, AT&T will not force you to sign up for the more expensive iPhone calling plan.
